The Windhoek-based Namibian, artist Proklaim makes a comeback with the genre-bending single "CREEPIN/FURTHER (2 IN 1)" on July 17, 2025. Proklaim's fearless dedication to artistic development is evident in this dual-track composition, which seamlessly blends gritty boom bap rhythms with the lively pulse of Amapiano.

The tracks were meticulously and passionately crafted, recorded at Pen Pushaz Studios, and expertly honed by Wojtek Majewski at Audio Art Namibia. Proklaim's ability to switch between powerful rap verses and catchy vocals with ease, demonstrating his versatility as a performer and storyteller, is what really makes this album stand out. A cinematic layer is added by the Shaka Zulu mini-series sample, which honors African ancestry while heightening the thematic intensity of the song.

While "FURTHER" begins with a more rhythmic, danceable energy rooted in Amapiano flair, .“CREEPIN” sets a dark, reflective tone with its hard-hitting beat and thought-provoking. The two tracks work together to create a narrative journey that is about introspection, resiliency, and progress. Proklaim's lyrics demonstrate a profound understanding of the ability of music to bridge cultural divides and convey truth via poetry and rhythm.

"CREEPIN/FURTHER (2 IN 1)" is refreshingly unique in a world where musical formulas frequently seem dated. It solidifies Proklaim's status as a pioneer in African hip-hop and serves as a bridge between cultures. This release is a daring and significant listen for music lovers and curators looking for music that speaks to them more deeply.
